For those of you who have been paying attention, you're aware that I've been trying half-heartedly to sell our truck and 5th wheel off and on for a couple of years. You also may be aware that I have always preferred a Class A, but decided in 1998 to try the 5th wheel just for sport (and the fact that it was a whole lot cheaper). Well, last month (August 2002), we finally got serious and traded our rig for a 1997 Pace Arrow Vision 37' with jacks, rear camera, washer/dryer, etc., etc.
In addition to the Pace Arrow, we also got a good deal on a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick Sport. Below are some pictures. If you'd like to see them closeup, click a picture for a larger view.

For those of you who are really, really observant, you probably notice we didn't get a slide-out. After all my words on slide-outs, you probably thought we'd get one or more. Well, as it turned out, retirees on a budget sometimes have to make concessions. For what we wanted to spend, we had sort of a choice between top-of-the-line without slides or a somewhat lower class, newer model with a slide. We chose the former because it had other attractions (the jacks, etc.), my wife liked it better, and I had a few doubts about slides based upon inputs from Roger Kline.
