Allstate Cruisaire - (1955-1957) Photos found on the internet. I bought my first used Cruisaire when I was 14 (1955) and owned several between then and about 1957. They were selling new at Sears at that time for $395 and we bought them anywhere from $200 down to $10 (wreck bought for parts). I also owned one in college about 1966-1968. Great transportation, if you can keep from having an accident. Lean too much on a corner and scrape that floorboard, then you'll see who's in charge :) I could carry about 200 newspapers on one and still manage to reach the footbrake.
