1967 MGB - (1979-1979) Photos found on the internet. Mine was actually orange, but looked much like this photo. My memory was that it was a 1976, but after looking at online photos, I decided my memory was bad and it must have been a 1967. I bought this as a second car in 1979 after killing the VW, ran it really hard for about 6 months, then blew the engine so sold it to someone who knew how to fix it. Seems like I paid $1200, sold it with blown engine for $200, the guy put in a Mariner engine that he got for $100, then sold it for $1000. Lucky I don't make a living buying and selling cars (or anything else), as I generally end up selling a lot cheaper then what I pay for them. This was a really peppy little car, sounded great, drove real smooth, but couldn't handle my hard driving, I guess.
