Topic: Hoffman Vehicles
1959 Pontiac - (1961-1962) Photos taken by Bob Hoffman off the end of the old Tram Road in Tallahassee in about 1961. I actually had this car at the same time as the 1956 Ford convertible and later the 1959 Oldsmobile. I was working for the US Post Office, making a whopping $8 per hour, so could easily afford two cars :) This was about the closest thing I ever had to a muscle car, with a 389 CI engine and 3 2-barrel carbs. It was a real beauty. I'd bet it would be worth a bunch if I still had it. That's actually probably true about any of these oldies. I think I traded the Green 1956 Ford for this and then traded this off for the 1962 Volvo. Mouse over the photo to get a rear view. How about those spinner hubcabs!
